8 days to go - Test ride with cake

Went for a cycle on the tandem today and managed 15 miles before stopping in the pub and having a well deserved beer and chocolate cake in front of a fire, which made the ride home in the cold seem a lot harder.

However the main reason for the ride was to see what would break and luckily nothing did, so apart from a little tweaking were all set for a 120km test ride at the weekend. Tomorrow we will practice cycling with all the weight on the tandem and see how it handels.
