About

Whats all this about then??
The Lands End to John o'groats Tandem ride has been organised to raise money and awareness for Kenya 2020.

The ride involves as many tandems and willing riders as we can get to ride from Lands End to John o'groats over 15 days, from 1/6/2013 - 15/6/2013. It is a 960 mile journey through some of the most iconic and challenging scenery across the UK.

If you fancy just riding a part of the ride this is fine, there will be start and end points each day.
If you would like to be a part of it you can be, just contact me using the information from the riders page.

So who are Kenya 2020?
Kenya 2020 is a UK-based charity that supports sustainable development projects in the Alara area of Western Kenya. The projects are run in Kenya by the Centre for Education and Participatory Rural Development  (CEPARD) a registered Community-Based Organisation (CBO). The lead role in all projects is taken in Kenya by CEPARD. It is essential that development problems in Kenya are identified by Kenyans, solutions are planned by Kenyans and carried out by Kenyans.
