Third day 335km down 1265km to go

Third day has started off a lot better. However it always un-nerving to know that when waking up on your third day the  cycling record holders for Lands End to JOG would be finished and on there way home .... Yes the record is 48hours.

We decided to take a slightly more direct route today which although meant we had to travel on busier roads, did mean less map reading (not our strong point!). The switch to main roads however didn't help us escape the hills, and as much fun as the 25% decline was the incline on the other side was a nightmare. Below is a picture of the views from the top.

There are many perks to constant exercise second breakfast being one of them, and massive lunches being the second. At our lunch stop we met some very nice lady's in an organic cafe/food shop, and then ate massive peanut butter and banana pitas, or in wills case cheese and pepper pitas.
After lunch we headed towards taunton as we had decided we would stay near there. We arrived  in taunton slightly ahead of schedule so decided we would push on to Bridgwater and look out for a camping spot along the way. After what seemed  like 10 hours and a million farmers fields we gave up and headed into the centre of Bridgwater. After finding fish and chips for dinner we managed to get a bed in a nice b&b at a discount, where we had a pint, a shower, and a clothes wash. Night night everyone.
